She was born December 27, 2005 (this was a typo in the newspaper) in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Mellodie Ann Gleeson and the late D. J. Akers. In addition to her daddy, Alli was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Ann and William Gleeson; great grandmother, Janice Williams; uncles Craig Risenburg and Anthony Lee Gleeson and great uncle Terry Aubuchon. Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are her mother, Mellodie Ann Gleeson; grandparents David and Pat Akers and Lisa and Matt Mattioli, all of Potosi; great grandmother Pat Allen of Potosi; her great grandfather, Albert Risenburg of Potosi; great aunt, Lynn Aubuchon of Potosi, many great aunts and uncles; cousins and many other relatives and friends who are heart brokern by her passing. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Tim Thebeau officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Johnny Akers, Mike Litton, Billy Gleeson, Matt Riefeburg, Brandon Hawkins and Marty Drennen. Honorary pallbearers were the American Family Rodeo Association Cowboys. Interment and final prayers were held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, north of Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
