He was born August 5, 1924 at Richwoods, Missouri, a son of the late Gustave and Teresa (Courtway) Rulo. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Lane on October 21, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri. She preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, LeRoy Rulo; a daughter, Evelyn Rogers; three brothers, Leo, Joe and Matthew Rulo and three sisters, Catherine Rulo, Cil Seidle and Rose Boyer. Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include three daughters, Lisa Mitchell and husband Gary, Tammy Davis and husband Cecil, and Brenda Horton and husband Mike, all of Belgrade; two sons,Daniel Rulo and wife Debby of Cameron, and Brian Rulo of Farmington; a brother, Clarence Rulo, Brighten, Illinois; a sister, Elizabeth Goetges, Alton, IL; special niece, Charlotte Smith and special granddaughter, Rebecca Mitchell; six grandhcildren and 3 great-grandchildren, nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Ardell Gray officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jeffrey Wilson, Michael Wilson, Don Eye, Adam Boyer, Curtis McDaniels and Rusty Camp. Interment and final prayers were held at New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point Route.
