Nash, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri, "Robbie" as he was known to all, departed this life Sunday, December 25, 2005 as the result of a car accident. Friends and loved ones shared only 18 years, 10 months and 2 days with this wonderful young man. He touched many lives. He was born February 23, 1987, a son of Robert L. Nash, Sr. and Diane (Brooks) Martin. Robbie graduated in May of 2005 from Potosi High School. He was presented with the Special Team Player Award, the Trojan Award, Wrestling Champion Award, Most Valuable Player Award and he was crowned Homecoming Football King. Robbie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara Wright, John Emily and Vivan Martin, and an aunt, Patty Nash. Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his mother, Diane Martin and husband Butch; father, Robert Nash, Sr., and wife Sheila; four sisters, Misty Aubuchon and husband Eric of Potosi, Becky Gallion and fiance' Chad Parker of Arkansas, Barb Books and friend Darin Politte of Mineral Point and Ashley Nash of Potosi; two stepbrothers, Sean Martin of Potosi and Zachary McMahan of Potosi; a stepsister, Lindsey Johnson of Irondale; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Potosi High School Gymnasium with Rev. Roger Taber and Rev. Doug Tendall officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Travis Phares, Bubba Kincaid, Tommy Brunk, Jared Marler, Sean Martin, Mickey Fitzwater, Corey Murphy and Kylynn Krampf. Honorary pallbearers were: Trent Pickett, Nick Staley, Jeremy Cantrell, Jason Toppings, Josh Newcomer, Justin Nelson and James Emily. Interment and final prayers were held at Hopewell Cemetery, Mineral Point Route. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
