She ws born September 8, 1953 at Mineral Point, Missouri, a daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Bowen) Kean. In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosetta Cox and Marianne Kean and six brothers, Timmy, Billy, James and Earnest Kean and Jack and Sherman Revelle. Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband, Randy Bowling; a son, James DeGonia and wife Leola; a daughter Christina DeGonia; five step-sons, Brian Bowling of Highland Park, Michigan; Jeremy Bowling of Detroit, MI; Randolph Bowling of Hyden, Kentucky; Brandon Mosley of Hyden, KY and Joshua Bowling of Summerset, KY; a step-daughter, Kimberly DuBerg, Madison, Height, MI; four sisters, Ellen Masson and husband Linnie of Potosi; Ruth Kean of Cassville; Wanda Marler and husband Donnie of Mineral Point and Sue Boyer of Mineral Point; six brothers, Darin Kean of Arkansas; Ted Kean of Cadet; Joe Kean and wife Lillian of Carthage and James Kean of Malden; fourteen grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Curtis Warren officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Harvey William Price, Frank Dunn, Wesley Maills, Donnie Yount, Troy Talley and Ted Kean. Interment and final prayers followed in the New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point, Route. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
