Nov 24, 1866 and departed this life at his home near Potosi, April 1, 1934, his age being 67 years, 4 months and 7 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Martha Conway April 14, 1899. To this union 7 children were born, namely, Anna Hawkins, of Bonne Terre. Mildred Kerby, Luther, Theodore, Howard, and Harold King, all of Potosi, and one daughter, Dora Wisdom, preceeded him in death. Mr. King accepted Christ as his Savior 33 years ago and lived a faithful christian life. He leaves to morn his departure his wife and children, one brother, John King of Palmer, 14 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held at Church of God, Monday, conducted by Rev. Gowers. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.
