Son of the late Hurlin and Effie Parks, he is survived by his wife Ruth Parks and three children; one son, Lanny; two daughters, Paula and Tina. Paul was a family man and was happiest when they were around him. He was also a great hunter and fisherman. Funeral services were Friday, March 17, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, Potosi, with three songs, one special one, "Daddy's Hand's" and one special poem read by Rev. Leonard Compton. Burial was at Palmer Cemetery The Independent Journal, Potosi, Mo., March 30, 2006, Pg 12C in Freda Maxwell's South County column
