He was a Veteran of World War II and his father was a Civil War Veteran. He entered the hospital on Friday, June 8, 1984, had surgery for ulcers Saturday, June 9 and passed away from a heart attack on Monday, June 11. He is survived by his brother Mac Adams, and wife, Pearl. Salem, Mo.; one sister, Edna; two nieces, Jean Henderson and Mary Maffit, and a nephew, John Seyforth. His parents and one sister, Mrs. Hallie Seyforth preceded him in death. Graveside services were held at the Jefferson Barracks Cemetery where interment was made by Hoppe's Funeral Home.
