She was born on June 28, 1931 in Caledonia, the daughter of Artie and Bessie (Palmer) Key. Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband Earl Harris; two sons, Rev. Michael (Sonja) Harris of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Rodney Harris of Bismarck; one daughter Patti (husband Eddie) Mosier of Bismarck; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a special friend, Kim Gibbons. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Marion and John and two sisters, Francis and Lizzie. Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bismarck, Past Worthy Matron Order of the Eastern Star Sabylla Chapter #276 and Past Bethel Guardian Bethel #64. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at C.Z. boyer & Son Funeral Home, Leadwood, with Rev. Dan Upchurch officiating. Interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck.
