She was born March 5, 1957, a daughter of Cecil B. Lawson, Sr. and Joyce (Politte) Lawson of Mineral Point Route. Debra was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louis and Margie Lawson and Jack and Nora Politte. She loved the Hopewell Church of God where she was a member. Among those who remain to mourn her passing are her parents; a daughter, Tara Silvey of Independence, Missouri; a son, Christopher Silvey of Potosi; four brothers, Cecil B. Lawson, Jr., and wife Patti of Caledonia; Jeffrey Lawson and wife Tammy of Irondale; Darrell Lawson and wife Vicki of Hopewell and Douglas Lawson of Hopewell; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2005 at the Hopewell Church of God with Rev. Jim Wade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Clint Lawson, Jeffrey (J.C.) Lawson II, Dan Robinson, Mike Heifner, Nick Henry and Nicky Henry. Interment was in the Hopewell Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
