Leonard, 73, of Cadet, was born May 21, 1932 in Crescent City, MO a son of the late Edward F. and Ruth Leonard. He died Thursday, June 23, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Leonard was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He was a mechanic for Dave Sinclair-Ford. Survivors include his wife, Audrey (McClain) Leonard, Cadet; a son, Raymond "Dennis" (wife Sue) Leonard, Fremont, MO; two daughters, Sandra (husband Kenneth) Bohnert, Dittmer, MO and Denise (Dariel) Woods, Cadet; two brothers, Dave (Marty) Leonard, Hillsboro, and Paul Leonard, DeSoto; a sister, Nordel Leonard, Texas; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Don, Norbert and Robert Leonard. Mr. Leonard was an avid fisherman and enjoyed talking with friends. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2005 from Mahn Funeral Chapel, DeSoto, with Rev. Jeremy Muniz officiating. Burial was in Thebeau Cemetery, Fletcher, MO. Mahn Funeral Home, Desoto, was in charge of all arrangements. Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, June 30, 2005
