She was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Stanhope) Curry. Elizabeth departed this life Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi, Missouri, having reached the age of eighty-three years, three months and twelve days. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Evelyn Boyet and husband Joe of Potosi; three grandchildren; Tammy Benson and husband Jeff; James "J.D." Boyet and wife Tina and Tracy McDonald and husband Dale, all of Potosi, Missouri; five great-granddaughters; Samantha Benson, Kylee Brown, Melissa Bradley, Aaleeya Pickett, Breanna McDonald; five great-grandsons; Jerion Boyet, Joey Boyet, Dylan Boyet, Colby Benson and Kyndell Brown; two nieces, Carol Sullivent of Louisiana and Beth Curry of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Curry, and an infant sister. Elizabeth had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a long time dedicated member of the Lafayette Avenue Methodist Church, St. Louis, Missouri. Elizabeth loved spending time at her home where she could be found at any time decorating and cleaning. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors working and nurturing her garden. She had a great passion for antique autos and was always ready to talk about them. She was a loving and caring woman who always had others on her mind first. She will be lovingly remembered by all. Visitation was Wednesday, June 29, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 30, 2005 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Memorial Chapel in Potosi, Missouri with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Interment took place at the Hillcrest Abbey Mausoleum, St. Louis, Missouri. Services were entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
