(Little) Dill. She departed this life Saturday, July 16, 2005 at her residence having reached the age of ninety-six years, four months and nine days. Grace was united in marriage to Herman Christopher Politte on August 31, 1935 in Old Mines, Missouri. This union was blessed to have five children. Grace is survived by one son, John Homer Politte of Cadet, Missouri; three daughters; Patricia Ann Boyer of Arnold, Missouri; Judith Elizabeth Burk and husband Eddie of Arnold, and Mary Leona Marler of Lecanto, Florida; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Herman Christopher; a son, Herman James Politte; three sisters; Ruth Nippert, Bessie Coleman and Dorothy Boyd; one brother, Frank Dill, and one granddaughter, Karen Politte. Grace loved Mother Nature to its fullest; she would take walks in the woods picking wild flowers and spend hours in her vegetable and flower gardens. She was a seamstress and enjoyed making quilts, suits and wedding gowns. She liked to read all types of books and newspapers and watch the "Golden Girls" TV show. Grace also enjoyed eating at different restaurants. Visitation was held Monday, July 18, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Potosi Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Compton James Ramsawh officiating. Music was provided by organist Rebecca Richards, and soloist Tracy Boyer Flori. Burial took place at the St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. After the graveside service a luncheon was provided for family and friends by the Knights of Columbus, Old Mines, Missouri. Services were entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri. Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, July 21, 2005
