He and his wife Mary (last name might have been Estep ?) both stated on the 1850 Macon County census that they were born in Rutherford County, NC. At the time of their birth Rutherford County encompassed a large portion of western NC. Macon County is in the Blue Ridge moutains (beautiful area). It is believed that they left behind a son & daughter. The son had married in 1849 and the daughter in 1855. We believe that John & Mary moved to MO between 1855 and 1859. Isaac Harvey was from Grainger County, TN. I belive his brother was John J.Harvey and we think it was his son Zorabable (not the son of Isaac) that married Ada Isabell Wilson. Located John J. Harvey on the 1860 Indiana census with a son Zorabable. We are not sure that John J. & Isaac were brothers. They might have also had a brother Thomas that also had a son Zorabable that was listed on the 1850 Grainger County, TN census. These f! amilies were clustered together on the census with Zorabable age 48 as head in house that listed Isaac age 20, Mary age 18 & Elizabeth 65. Have not been able to determine her relationship yet. John was living next door. Still trying to locate the rest of John A. Wilson's children & where John & Mary might be buried. We have noticed several of the other families in Washington County, MO on the 1860 census that appear to have been from Macon County, NC.
