He departed this life Thursday, June 30, 2005 at his home having reached the age of seventy-three years, nine months and twenty-four days. Stanley Dee was united in marriage to Evelyn L. (Rasnic) Dee on September 18, 1960 at the St. James Catholic Church in Potosi, Missouri by Rev. Joseph Schejbal. Stanley and Evelyn were happily married for forty-four years and nine months. Stanley is survived by his loving wife Evelyn Dee of DeSoto; three daughters, Joyce Esterlein and husband Glen of Benton, Kentucky, Janet Schnitzer and husband Paul of Arnold, Missouri and Sonya Bray and Steve of Benton, Kentucky; one son, Steve Dee and wife Jo Ann of Lake Elsinore, California, eight grandchildren; Rebecca and Emily Dames, Timothy and Sarah Schnitzer, Harlie Diaz, Stephanie Dee, Megan and Madison Bray; five sisters; Evelyn Lewis of Tyler, Texas; Faye Hill of Jefferson City, Missouri; Betty Estes and husband Bill of O'Fallon, Missouri; Ruth McAllister of South Gate, California and Carol Caballero of Los Angeles, California; six brothers; Russell Dee and wife Alvenia of Arnold, Missouri, Charlie Dee and wife Catherine of Wright City, Missouri; John Dee and wife Irene of High Ridge, Missouri; Finis Dee of Mienral Point, Missouri; Dennis Dee and wife Jane of Mineral Point and Ronnie Dee and wife Cynthia of Leadwood, Missouri; also by numerous nieces, nephews, ot! her relatives and many friends. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Muriel, Dorothy and Beverly Dee and three brothers, Darrell, Donald and Tom "Frank" Dee. Stanley was a very kind and caring man that will be missed by his family and many friends. Stanley loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren every chance he got. He enjoyed traveling and going on family camping trips and fishing whenever he had the opportunity. He always considered it a privilege being able to help with the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" in Benton, Kentucky. Stanley was a member of Union Local #27, and worked for many years as a boilermaker for the Nooter Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri. Visitation was Monday, July 4, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 5, 2005 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Memorial Chapel in Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Charles Evans officiating. Burial was at the Hopewell Cemetery. Services were entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
