She was born May 15, 1929 at Flat River, Missouri, a daughter of the late James and Rose (Wilkinson) Beers. Geraldine was united in marriage to John Pruett December 26, 1972 at Florissant, Missouri. They enjoyed over thirty-two years of marriage. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Studdard, R., and Frederick Sitzes, Sr.; a daughter, Delphia May Evans; grandchildren, Stacy Ann Marie Sitzes and Raymond Arthur Sitzes and two brothers, Robert and William Carl Beers. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her beloved husband, John Pruett of Piedmont; six sons, Harvey Studdard and wife (Suzanne) of Union; Terry Studdard of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Bobby Sitzes and wife Sharon of Hermann, MO; Ricky Sitzes of St. John, Leonard Sitzes of Piedmont, and John H. Pruett, Jr., and wife Sarah of Berkeley; three daughters, Myra Joglar and friend Glen Kenue of Marthasville, MO; Carol Baker of Phoenix, AZ, and Anita Studdard of Cape Girardeau; twenty-five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and many other friends and relatives who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi with Rev. Jimmy Crutchfield officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Ricky Warren Sitzes, Bobby Gene Sitzes, Harvey Charles Studdard, John H. Pruett, Jr., John Charles Studdard and John Edward Pruett.
