She was born October 21, 1944, a daughter of the late Ralph and Elsie Marie (Williams) Whitby. Those who remain to mourn her passing include her common law husband, Arthur DeClue; two daughers, Helena Sasseen and husband Monty of Blackwell and Tammy Wallace, also of Blackwell; a brother, Roger Whitby of St. Louis; a sister, Linda Bauman of Arnold; six grandchildren, Cassandra Wilson, Sandra Sasseen, DeWayne Sasseen, Daniel Sasseen, Monty Sasseen, Jr., and Monica Sasseen; adopted daughter, Sherry J. Gudermuth; nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were held Monday, April 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Britton Chapel of Potosi with David Godat officiating.
