She was born September 23, 1915, a daughter of the late Frank W. and Rose (Wesselman) Heger. Lucille was united in marriage to Frank C. Stephens at St. Louis, Missouri and three children were born to that union. Frank preceded her in death in 1992. Those who remain to mourn her passing include two sons, Robert Stephens and wife Jan of Hazelwood and Frank Stephens and wife Rita of Potosi and a daughter, Rose Schriewer and husband Dave of Wright City; three sisters, Marcella Heger of Jennings, Appie Horst of Jennings and Florence Zeman of Springfield, MIssouri; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi with Father George Galovich officiating. A graveside service and interment were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Britton Funeral Home of Potosi was in charge of all arrangements.
