Stanley departed this life, having reached the age of thirty-three years. (No date of death was listed). Stanley is survived by his father and mother, Edward Franklin Messex and Dixie Messex of Potosi, Missouri; two sons, Justin Messex and Curtis Messex of Potosi; five sisters, Judy Messex of Cadet, Sandra Coleman and husband Harrison of Javlon, Missouri; Linda Faulkner and husband Dennis of Florida; Mary Messex of Tiff, Missouri, and Diane Messex of Old Mines; four brothers, Jim Messex and wife Sharon of St. Clair; Leroy Messex and wife Ellen of New Haven, Missouri; David Messex and wife Judy of St. Clair and Bobby Messex of New Haven, Missouri. Stanley enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved hunting, fishing, and just spending time in the outdoors. He also enjoyed spending time with all of his family and friends. Stanley will be missed deeply by everyone he knew. A memorial visitation was held Wednesday, September 14, 2005 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. A memorial service was held Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri, with Rev. Bill Warren officiating.
