Parmley, 79, Ste. Genevieve formerly of DeSoto, was born April 8, 1926 at Potosi, a son of the late Ladon and Laura Belle (Morgan) Parmley and died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center. He was a carpenter. Surviving are four sons, James (Jacqueline) Parmley, DeSoto; Jackie (Renee) Parmley, Wiengarten, MO; Jay Michael (Angie) Parmley, Lemay, MO and Jeffrey Parmley, DeSoto; two brothers, Luther (Jenny) Parmley, St. Louis, and Floyd (Kathleen) Parmley, Irondale; four sisters, Elizabeth Bunch, Potosi; Gracey (Curly) Green, St. Louis; Mary Wright, St. Louis and Bertha Lee (John) Patterson, Cuba, MO; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2005 from Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel, DeSoto. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
