She was born July 18, 1932 in Goodland, Missouri, a daughter of the late Edwin L. "Mutt" and Gladys Lucille (Schrum) Blount. Wilma was married to Clinton Trokey October 20, 1951 in Pocahontas, Arkansas and a son was born to the union. Clinton preceded her in death on August 21, 2002. In addition to her parents and her husband, Wilma was preceded in death by a sister, Corinne Edwards. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her son, Steve Trokey and wife Pam of Potosi; a sister, Laverna Kay and husband Bob of Potosi; a brother Donald Blount of Potosi; a grandson Clint Trokey; a granddaughter, Gretchen Simpson and husband Marty of Caledonia; three great grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan and Lauren Simpson of Caledonia; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Dale Blount officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jeff Blount, J.J. Blount, Joey Blount, Robbie Reed, Michael Kay and Curt Gaston. Interment and final prayers were in Redbud Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 8 west, Potosi.
