Mrs. Sparn was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Sparn; her parents, Samuel Clarty and Lucy F. (Carylon) Richeson; two brothers, Clyde Richeson and Johnny Richeson and three sisters, Margaret Schaefer, Irene Saunders and Lucille Kemp. Surviving are a son, Dennis E. Sparn Sr., of Collinsville, Ill; a daughter, Janice Sparn of Fairview Heights, Ill; a grandson, Dennis E. Sparn, Jr.; a granddaughter, Tricia Denise Grissom; a great-granddaughter Tessa Grissom; a great-grandson, Nicholas Grissom and a brother, Bob Richeson of North Carolina. Memorials were suggested to Heartland Hospice or the Rotary Foundation.. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill with Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment was in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill. Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, June 1, 2006
