She is survived by her loving and devoted parents, Jamie Gibson and Shawn Barton of Cadet; one sister, Makayla Barton and a brother Kobe Barton; her grandparents, Pa Pa Mike Gibson, Bonne Terre; Nan Nan Cathy Gibson, Cadet and Maw Maw Melissa Byers, Park Hills; two special aunts, Carrie Minx and Laura Gibson; a special uncle, John Gibson; and many other aunts; uncles; and cousins who were saddened by the passing of this beautiful child. Alexis will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Alexis was preceded in death by her grandfather Terry Kelly; great grandparents John D. and Lucille Cosby, Harry Barton and great uncle Ron Cosby. A graveside service was conducted on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, with Bro. Guy Conway officiating and special readings by her loving and devoted aunt Larnie and great aunt Rebecca House.
