She was born in Potosi, December 6, 1917, a daughter of the late William and Edith Mae (Dotson) Nicholson. Helen was a loving and devoted mother, sister and friend. She was a lifetime member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church of Potosi. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Nicholson and three sisters, Chloe Buxton, Mary Leah Boyer and Edith Mercer. She is survived by a son, Terry Curley of St. Louis; two sisters, Mable Lou Tinker and husband Sonny, Potosi, and June Boyer and husband John of St. Louis; nieces; nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Tim Thebeau officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Rick Boyer, Dan Buxton, Bruce Boyer, Dick Juliette, John Boyer and Kevin Malugen. Interment and final prayers were held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Potosi.
