By 1870 all are gone. None can be located. my ancestor: Caroline Mary Wright & her brother Christopher were born after 1860 census. I believe David & Polly died in 1868 or 1869, as Caroline was born in 1865 & Christopher in 1868, Caroline was then adopted by William & Hannah (Griggs) McMurtrey. I only find Caroline & Mary living with their uncle/aunt Brazilla Wright in 1870 (one census says Brazilla is a female/one says male, we have yet to determine possitively his/her sex). Do you have any idea if there was a flu epidemic or flood or something catastophic in 1868-69 in MO, Washington County, Harmony Township??
