Her parents were William Isgrig (b.1810 Harrison, KY) and Violet Silvers (b. 1815 MO) they were m. 8 Mar 1832 in Washington Co., MO. They had at least 3 girs, Elizabeth Jane b 18 Mar, 1835 who married 1)Levi Mitchell, 2) Brittle Hill (our line) and 3)Alexander Birchfield. Her sister (Nancy) Jane Isgrig m. Levi's brother Henry Mitchell. Family story says third sister also married a Mitchell brother. Someone wrote me a note about when Missouri became a state so that some of the early dates I speculated were born in the area werren't really, because it wasn't a state yet. However, they were still in the area, I think. Maybe have to look under LA. purchase? Think Mitchells' father may have been Alfred, but can't prove it.
