A daughter of the late William Sanford and Mabel Ada (Tedder) Elliott, she was born March 27, 1933 in Potosi, Missouri. She was a homemaker and loved crafts, cooking and gardening. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alva Elliott; a step-son, Mike Elliott; a grandson, Aaron Boyer; two sisters, Anna Belle Baker and Dorothy Nixon, and two brothers, Lee Elliott and William Sanford Elliott, Jr. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; Dennis and Tammy Finley and Jerry Finley and Tammy Nickelson, all of Potosi, Missouri; a daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Ray Desmarais of Lowell, Massachusetts; a daughter-in-law, Linda Davis of Hope, Arkansas; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Wilma Elliott of Potosi, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Elliott of Potosi; six grandchildren; Melissa Davis, Nathan Finley, Tory and Elliott Hawkins, Amanda Davis and Megan Finley; five great-grandchildren; Korbin Hawkins, Chloe and Kalib Finley, Nathan Petite and Hunter Davis and many nephews and nieces.
