He was born March 25, 1952 at Cadet, Missouri, a son of the late Louis and Fannie (Nickelson) Politte. Frankie married Carol Skiles on March 26, 1976 and to this union one son was born. Carol preceded him in death on February 15, 2003. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Politte. Frankie was a gentle, loving man who never had a driver's license, never drove a car and walked nearly everywhere he went. He loved to fish. Many days he could be seen walking to fish at Baker's Pond with Junior Wilkerson. He was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Frankie worked at Reed's Sawmill for many years. Those who remain to mourn his passing include his son, Jason Politte; three brothers; Benny, Tony, and Ricky; three sisters; Grace, Carol and Linda and a hos of family and friends who will sadly miss him. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 12 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ located on E Hwy. Services were entrusted to the care of Britton Funeral Home, Potosi.
