I would like to ask if anyone has any information or suggestions on William Douglas who is listed in the 1830 census for Washington Co., MO but isn't oh the 1840 census. My ggrandfather was Hugh Bell Douglas (b. 1843 in MO) but the 1850 census has him living with another family. I would like to see if William might be his father. I have a little more on him after he married but very little before. Any help will be very appreciated. Thank you, Marilyn
