She was born on November 24, 1925, a daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Honkanen) Hill. Ruth was united in marriage to Ralph Stanley Dial on July 31, 1961 at Waterloo, Illinois and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1978. She was a dog groomer by trade before her retirement and was a very caring and compassionate person who touched all who knew her. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her daughter, Robyn Walton and husband Randy of Potosi; granddaughter Jessica Shivers of Potosi and fiance' Robert Wilkinson; special friend Charlene and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Dr. Michael Coleman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Donnie Wilkinson, Tim Wilkinson, Robert Wilkinson, Randy Elliott and Randy Walton. Interment was in the Antioch Cemeter, Quaker, MO under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi. Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, March 31, 2005
