She was born in Bismarck, ND 14 Sep 1913 to Jennie Miller and John Wiley Algiere. Jennie died 30 Sep 1913 after the birth of my mother. John adopted my mother out to his sister, Maggie Dowdall, and I found my mother Elsie and her sister Maggie Doris living with their grandfather on the 1920 Census (Tonny Algar & Mary Ann Baker) Their older sister Violet was living with a McGrager. I don't know where Andy went to live when John W. went to live with his sister Emma & her husband James Garfield Doty in Baxter, Big Flat, AR on the 1920 US Census for AR.
