She was born on December 21, 1942, a daughter of Dorothy (Douglas) Lawson and the late Pat Lawson. Janice was united in marriage to Clifford Williams on February 13, 1970 at Irondale, Missouri. Those who remain to mourn her passing include her husband, Clifford Williams of Cadet; her mother, Dorothy Lawson of Ironton; sons, Shannon Williams and wife Melissa of Bentonville, AR, Clifford Williams and wife Joy of Rogers, AR, Richard Binkley of Cadet, Aaron Binkley and wife Theresa of Brentwood, AR;, and Wilbert Courtney of Springdale, AR; daughters, Shauna Atwood and husband Tim of Pineville, MO and Dorothy Hopping and husband David of Potosi; brothers, Pat Lawson of St. Louis, Mike Lawson of Park Hills, and Monroe Lawson of Ironton; sisters, Margo Lawson of St. Louis, Pauline Breier of St. Louis, Beverly Lawson of Ironton, and Lisa Novelly of Colorado Springs, CO; fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Visitation was 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Britton Funeral Home in Potosi. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, March 25, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating.
