She was the daughter of the late Fred J. and Margaret (Coleman) Politte. She departed this life Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Crystal City, Missouri, having reached the age of eighty-four years, eight months and eight days. Helen was united in marriage to Charles A. Politte on June 24, 1950 in Old Mines, Missouri. She is survived by brother, John Politte of Potosi and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles A. Politte; four brothers, Herman, James, Robert, and Fred Politte and three sisters; Mabel Martin, Rachel Politte and Florence Castrogiovanni. Helen was a longtime member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri. She enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling with her husband Charles throughout the United States. Visitation was held Monday, November 21, 2005 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, MO. Funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jim Politte, Dave Politte, Glen Politte, George Boyer, John Politte, and Tom Worthen. Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines. Services were entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, MO. Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, December 1, 2005
