Huskey, 69, DeSoto, was born October 4, 1936 at Old Mines, the daughter of Morgan and Leona (Mercille) Boyer and died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Crystal City. She was a homemaker. She was married on October 20, 1956 to Leroy Huskey, who survives. Also surviving are five daughters; Sharon (husband William) Vickroy, Bonne Terre; Linda (Tom) Buxton and Barbara (Dave) Boyer, DeSoto; Debbie (Thomas) Poncet, Valle Lake and Patricia (Bobby) Pinson, Granite City, Illinois; four brothers; Jimmy (wife Linda) Boyer, Mineral Point; Kenny Boyer, North Carolina; Eddie (Sherry) Boyer, DeSoto and Bobby Boyer, Festus; three sisters, Theresa Courtois, DeSoto and Mary (Stanley) Portell and Rose (Wayne) Politte, Old Mines; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was precedeed in death by a brother, Gary Phillip Boyer and a sister, Dee Portell. She was a caregiver for family and friends and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, DeSoto. Funeral mass was at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2005 from Mahn Funeral Chapel, DeSoto, with Deacon Ed Boyer officiating. Burial was in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery, DeSoto.
