But this connection explains my g-g-g grandfather's connection to the Gibsons in his household about 1850 in Missouri - Demarcus Walker with wife Mary Ann Walker had grandchildren with a Gibson name in this census. Nancy Ann Gregory's husband was James Alexander Callahan. Their daughter Nancy Ann Callahan was my g-grandmother and married my g-grandfather John Wesley Walker (she was 2nd wife). They lived in the Meremac area in Dent County MO from 1880 to the time of their deaths in the 1930s.
