John A. Wilson is my 4th ggrandfather. He moved from Macon County, NC to Washington County, Missouri after the 1850 census was taken. His parents were William Wilson & Catharine Thompson. My wife and I did quite a bit of research on his family about eight years ago and started the John A. Wilson Family in Washington County, Missouri board about 2006 looking for information. I need to look back at the old posts. Several people responded and furnished good information.
