    3. You've spent countless hours doing what you do! So please keep in mind the earlier situation w/ Brian Oster's marriage records. Heaven forbid, anything ever should happen to you! But we can't predict the future! Will all your work remain accessible if the website fees become lapsed? This is just a head's up to have a plan in place and to have someone who can access your backup information in case of an emergency! -Kay

    3. Hi Kay - Every few months I back up Carrolls Corner on disc.  If anything should happen to me my husband  has the back up.  I've told him to keep the web site on-line as long as he can.  He wouldn't be adding to it as he is not a genealogist or historian but would just maintain it.  When I cross-over everything I have in the way of genealogy/history is to go to the University of Missouri - Rolla.  They have been very good to me there helping me with research & advice & they take very good care of all their files.  But they said they could not keep it on-line unless arrangements are made for the fees.    Would you, Kay, or anyone else be interested in taking over Carrolls Corner upon my demise?  It would be nice to have someone in mind so my husband could turn everything over to them.    Esther M. Cecil J. Cash – By: Esther Ziock Carroll - ©ZIOCK63664 This incident was considered to be the worst WAR CRIME committed against American soldiers in the western European Theatre of WWII.  Much has been published about this event but only a very few authors have included mention of my relative.  So I have written his story giving him the full recognition he deserves.  This story provides a detailed account of Sgt. Cecil J. Cash's tragic demise when he along with 80+ other unarmed American P.O.W.'s were brutally MURDERED by Nazis on the second day of the Battle of the Bulge, 17 December 1944.  This is the TRUE story of  Sgt. Cash of the 197th Anti-Aircraft Artillery, Automatic Weapons Battalion.  Sgt. Cash of St. Francois County, Missouri , USA , is my step-father by way of being the first husband of my mother Pearl Martin Cash Ziock Foree of Washington County, Missouri, USA.   Sgt. Cash's military history begins at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis in 1942 & covers his two year tour of duty through five states, two continents, & six countries.  The story includes excerpts from Sgt. Cash's personal correspondence with his wife as he forges his way through France, Belgium & Luxembourg with thousands of other American soldiers liberating Europe from Hitler's evil Nazi Regime & bringing an end to the Holocaust & the Third Reich.  For the complete story please go to: http://www.carrollscorner.net/CarnageAtTheCrossroads.htm ________________________________ From: Kay Clerc <[email protected]> To: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] Sent: Friday, October 4, 2013 9:19 AM Subject: Re: [MOSTFRAN] THANK YOU!
