I saw this in our Arnold/Imperial Leader. I tried to put on the Washington County website, but I get an error, so I just posted in an email. Norene M. Weidenbenner, 97, of Crystal City died November 30, 2013,at Crystal Oaks Nursing Center. Mrs. Weidenbenner was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. Born September 22, 1916, in Old Mines, she was the daughter of the late Clara (Bequette) and Albert Battreal. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Walter McClanahan and Anthony "Tony" Weidenbenner. Funeral Mass was held December 4, at Sacred Heart Church, officiated by the Rev. Clark Maes. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Vineyard Funeral Home in Festus.
