Richards. Robert departed this life on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-five years and six months. Robert is survived by one daughter, Barbara C. Richards of Fairview, Montana; one son, Robert Huggins Richards, Jr. and wife, Vincenza of Chandler, Arizona; two sisters, Helen Lucy Malugen and husband, Guffrie "Junior" of Charleston, Missouri; Anne Richards of El Paso, Texas; two brothers, Stephen T. "Bud" Richards of Las Cruces, New Mexico; George B. Richards and wife, Rebecca, of Potosi, Missouri; three grandchildren, Robert H. Richards III, Nicholas Giovanni Richards, Matthew Antonio Richards and the mother of his children, Patricia Politte; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one brother, James Taylor "Fuzz" Richards. Robert was a member of the Potosi United Methodist Church and a member of the Potosi Elks Lodge # 2218. He enjoyed gardening and helping on the farm with the cattle. Robert loved sports, especially baseball and always enjoyed spending time with Robert, Jr. playing baseball. He loved visiting with his family and friends who will all deeply miss him. Visitation was held Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday, February 10, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri. A Memorial Service by the Potosi Elks Lodge #2218 was held Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home. A Funeral Service was held Monday, February 10, 2014 at 10:00 am AT the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Judy Jeffery officiating. Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Robert Richards Jr., Jim Wood, John Casey, Greg Davis, Kirk Boyer, Tom Worthen and John Moore. Moore Funeral Homes was honored to serve Robert, his family and friends.
