He was 90 years of age, his death being attributed to infirmities. He had been in good health until about a year ago when he suffered an attack of bronchial pneumonia, and his unusual robust health began to decline. Just a few weeks ago he was able to walk a mile to town and take care of chores about the home. Possessing a genial disposition he enjoyed the friendship of all with whom he became acquainted. The typical Ozark house on the Bismarck and old Irondale road had been Mr. Hull's home during his entire married life. His chief occupation was truck farming and gardening. Dabney Jackson Hull, son of William Henry and Catherine Imboden Hull, was born June 13, 1851, in the vicinity of Caledonia and died within 1/2 mile of his birthplace, Feb. 1, 1942 at the age of 90 years, 7 months and 19 days. He was united in marriage to Susan Belle Palmer on March 10, 1881. To this union four children were born, Lucian, Henry, Munson and David all of whom are living. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. C. Haines, pastor of the Bellevue Presbyterian Church from the residence of his son, J.M. Hull in Caledonia on Monday at 2:0. Burial was in the Presbyterian cemetery. Survivors are his aged widow and four sons, three sisters, Mrs. Patsy Shaffer of Roseburg, Ore., Mrs. Nan Patterson and Mrs. Lucy Mangan of St. Louis, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Those from a distance to attend the funeral were Mrs. Nan Patterson and daughter Jenny, Mrs. Luc Mangan, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hull and son of St. Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Smith of Piedmont, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Whitt, of Ironton, Mrs. Harry McClintock and Miss Anne Whitt of Irondale and Mrs. Bell Eaton of Leadwood.
