Mr. Adams, son of the late Henry and Mary Adams, was born April 4, 1885, and was 75 years old at the time of his death. He was united in marriage to Laura LaChance on August ?, 1907, and to this union nine children were born: Opal (Mrs. Abrams), Louisville, Ky; Theodore, Harold, Amos, Evelyn (Mrs. Lester Saunchegraw), Katherine (Mrs. Kermit Manion), all of Potosi, and Alfred of Lemay. His wife, Laura, and two sons Clarence and Everett, preceded him in death. On October 28, 1956, he was united in marriage to Maggie Leach, who survives. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and united with the Free Will Baptist Church at Mine La Mote. In 1959 he became a member of the Potosi Baptist Church, where he remained a member until death. Surviving are his wife Maggie, seven children; 20 grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., July 7 at the Potosi Baptist Church, with the Rev. S. D. Gibson officiating.
