Isabella Wilson married Zorable Harvey in Washington Co Mo. Martha Emeline Wilson married his son Issac Harvey. Isaac and Martha didn''t have a son Zorabable. There is a ZB Harvey buried at Lost Creek Cemetery but that Zoe is the son of John and Jane Harvey also buried in Lost Creek. Isabella and Martha''s other sister Sarah married James Septon Hollinsworth. They are also buried at Lost Creek. James Septon was a brother to my GrGrandmother Anna Eliza Hollinsworth Doss. The Doss-Harvey lines are tangled for several generations probably starting with Charles Doss m Sarah Harvey in 1793 in Franklin Co VA.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/lNB.2ACI/3961.1.1 Message Board Post: The John A. Wilson in 1860 Washington County, MO is from Macon County, NC. He and his wife Mary (last name might have been Estep ?) both stated on the 1850 Macon County census that they were born in Rutherford County, NC. At the time of their birth Rutherford County encompassed a large portion of western NC. Macon County is in the Blue Ridge moutains (beautiful area). It is believed that they left behind a son & daughter. The son had married in 1849 and the daughter in 1855. We believe that John & Mary moved to MO between 1855 and 1859. Isaac Harvey was from Grainger County, TN. I belive his brother was John J.Harvey and we think it was his son Zorabable (not the son of Isaac) that married Ada Isabell Wilson. Located John J. Harvey on the 1860 Indiana census with a son Zorabable. We are not sure that John J. & Isaac were brothers. They might have also had a brother Thomas that also had a son Zorabable that was listed on the 1850 Grainger County, TN census. These f! amilies were clustered together on the census with Zorabable age 48 as head in house that listed Isaac age 20, Mary age 18 & Elizabeth 65. Have not been able to determine her relationship yet. John was living next door. Still trying to locate the rest of John A. Wilson's children & where John & Mary might be buried. We have noticed several of the other families in Washington County, MO on the 1860 census that appear to have been from Macon County, NC.

I'm not from that area either so I will take a ride down to the DeSoto library in the fall and see if they can help me. I'm trying to find out who owns the Wilson farm now as the cemetery is on private property. I have a photo of the tombstone of Christian Vineyard who was an early settler and am told it is on the John Wilson farm or what was the Wilson farm at one time.

Just getting started on the Wilson & Harvey famililies. Have been searching the cemetery listings & found a lot of listings in the Lost Creek & New Masonic Cemetery. Have been using Washington County, MO online and both cemetery & marriage index are good source of info. Found where Ada Isabell Wilson married Isaac Harveys son Zorabable. Believe his father also was named Zorabable. Hope I am reading this info correctly. Found where a Thaddeus M. Wilson married Margaret Staples in 1863. This was probably John A.'s son. Still searching & thanks again for the info.
