I am really interested in her because she died so young and I want to know if she has a marker and I just missed it somewhere.

    3. Hello, Thought I would try once more. Is there anyone researching MILLER's' in Mo/Ark? A few surnames linked to my MILLERs are; SMITH-POLITTE-TRUDEAU-O'bauchun [O'bochon, O'bauchon...several spellings for that one] regards D.M. Houston, Tx. _________________________________________________________ Back in early April I sent the following question to this list; "Hello, I hope I don't step on any toes or cause any friction [is not my intent] for asking the following.......Would someone please tell me about how long it takes to get a response from OMAHS? I sent money for research Jan 1,2005 and have yet to hear anything...Does it normally take this long?" The above question was forward to C. Myers of OMAHS. As mentioned in my above question, I paid for research...[2 surnames Trudeau being one]. I received a reply from C. Myers with many reasons why I hadn't heard from her and that she hoped to get to my surnames that weekend..[early April].. The following week she emailed me info on Trudeau...I've yet to hear from her on the other surname. Sent her an email the other day...[no reply..no surprise]...I'm no longer interested in a reply from omahs or anyone connected with them as I've been more than patient on this and will do my researching elsewhere. My main reason for writing this.... "I paid for something and didn't get it"...Not very prof! D.M. Houston, Tx.

Surnames: Beck, Misse, Coleman Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/lNB.2ACI/4069 Message Board Post: I believe that the parents listed for Minnie in the obit are incorrect. This is based on the obits of James H. Beck , Mary Ella Farrow Beck and Leonard C. Beck and census records. I believe that Minnie's parents are James and Mary Ella (Farrow) Beck. Leonard's obit mentions his sister "Mrs. Eli (Minnie) Portell of Bonne Terre". James' s obit list of his children includes "Mrs. Eli Portell of Bonne Terre" and "Leonard Beck. of St. Louis". Mary's obit list of children mentions "Mrs. Eli Portell of Bonne Terre" and "Leonard Beck of St. Louis". Then at the bottom of the obit it mentions those attending from Bonne Terre. In this list includes "Mr. and Mrs. Earl Portell, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Portell, Clyde Portell, Mrss Leona Portell, James, Ralph, Harold, and Dorothy Marie Portell". According to the census records these are some of the children of Eli and Minnie Beck Portell. Also James and Mary Beck were still living in Liberty Township, Washington County in the 1900 cens! us. The reason why I am tracking these families is because James H Beck is my g-grandfather, Joseph Beck, brother.
