He departed this life Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Potosi Manor having reached the age of sixty-three years, one month and nine days. Carl "Dee" was united in marriage to Carol Kincaid June 22, 1968 in Old Mines, Missouri, and this union was blessed with three children. Carl "Dee" is survived by his loving wife Carol Coleman of Mineral Point; a son, Dave Coleman and wife Lorraine of Mineral Point; two daughters, Lisa Harris and husband Kenneth of Desloge, Missouri and Julie Juliette and husband Stacy of Mineral Point; two brothers, Francis "Kittle" Coleman of Mineral Point and Stanley Coleman of Potosi and five grandchidlren, Amie, Talesha, Karissa, Robert and Dylan. Carl "Dee" was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Catherine Prather, three brothers, John Ade, Donald and Frank Coleman. Carl "Dee" liked fishing, hunting and just enjoying the many gifts of Mother Nature. He loved to have family gatherings barbequing and spending time with his grandchildren. Carl "Dee" also enjoyed playing cards, pitch, poker, and horseshoes. He could always make you smile with some type of wise crack. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. Visitation was held Friday, October 7, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 8, 2005 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Burial took place at Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Pete Coleman, Stacy Juliette, Rick Coleman, Jim Coleman, Kenny Harris and Dave Coleman. Virgilene was preceded in death by her husbands, Lowell Ragsdale, Harold Shadion, and Glen Forinahs, her parents, three brothers, Elmo, Edmond and Ernest Montgomery; one sister, Elmyra Bear; one grandson, Robert Ragsdale and one great-grandchild. Virgilene was a longtime member of the Irondale United Methodist Church and the Londale Order of Easter Star. She enjoyed Jolly Mixers and square dancing. Most of all Virgilene loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Virgilene was a very kind and generous woman who will be missed deeply by all of her family and friends. Visitation was held Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, September 28, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, Irondale, Missouri. A funeral service was held Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Irondale Methodist Church in Irondale, Missouri with Rev. Gwen Trullinger officiating. DeClue of Potosi, Missouri was born in Potosi, Missouri on July 25, 1919, the son of the late Les and Anna (Weber) DeClue. He departed this life on September 26, 2005 at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-six years, two months, and one day. Harry was united in marriage to Georgia (Helms) DeClue on April 10, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri and this union was blessed to have two daughters. Harry is survived by his wife, Georgia DeClue, one daughter, Aona DeClue of Potosi; one brother, Donald DeClue and wife Peggy of Potosi; four grandchildren, Melissa Cordia, Della Boyster, Elizabeth Gough and Dawn Parker; four great-grandchidlren, Amanda Gillam, Dillon Cordia, Ashley Gillam and Abigail Cordia. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Palla Parker; three sisters, Edna Key, Olive Cantrell and Athal Trudse and three brothers, Wilber, Virgil and Gene DeClue. Harry was honorably discharged from the United States Army having served during World War II. He enlisted September 14, 1940 and was discharged June 11, 1945. He was awarded one Bronze Star for the Aleutian Islands, and the good conduct medal. During his enlistment he performed duties as a member of the rifle unit to provide automatic and semi-automatic rifle fire against enemy personnel. Harry also cleaned and serviced weapons, and served as an instructor in rifle marksmanship in training camp. Harry loved to sit and relax in his rocking chair. He also enjoyed going hunting and fishing. Harry will be deeply missed by his family friends, and everyone he knew. Visitation was Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. Funeral mass was celebrated Wednesday September 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Potosi, Missouri with Father George Galovich officating. Burial took place at the Calvary Cemetery in Potosi, Missouri. Services were entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri. She was born April 14, 1912 at Flat River, Missouri, a daughter of the late Elliott and Minnie (Adams) Lewis. Bobbie, as she was known to family and friends, was a member of the Covenant Grace Church of God, Springtown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Brand and Sylvester Beaumont; three daughters, Patsy Paulus, Alice Faye Brand and Jo Ann Miller; three brothers, Walter, Everett and Ardel Lewis; one sister, Edith Balzer and one great-great-grandson, Simon Laird. Those who remain to mourn her passing are six grandchildren, Cynthia and Larry Walburn of Mineral Point, William and Sheila Voorhees of St. Louis, Pat and Victor Burkart of Gravois Mills, Terry and Debbie Miller of Gravois Mills, Tracy and Jerry Richard of Florida and David and Mary Miller of Gravois Mills; two sisters, Mable Demos of Farmington and Lucille Yeager of Bismarck; 19 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great grandchildren; 5 great-great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2005 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Robert Thurman officiaitng. Serving as pallbearers were: Shane Walburn, Johnny Laird, Willie Harris, Joe Mayfield, Tom Brewington and Bill Voorhees. Interment in the Herod Cemetery, Desloge. She was born July 18, 1932 in Goodland, Missouri, a daughter of the late Edwin L. "Mutt" and Gladys Lucille (Schrum) Blount. Wilma was married to Clinton Trokey October 20, 1951 in Pocahontas, Arkansas and a son was born to the union. Clinton preceded her in death on August 21, 2002. In addition to her parents and her husband, Wilma was preceded in death by a sister, Corinne Edwards. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her son, Steve Trokey and wife Pam of Potosi; a sister, Laverna Kay and husband Bob of Potosi; a brother Donald Blount of Potosi; a grandson Clint Trokey; a granddaughter, Gretchen Simpson and husband Marty of Caledonia; three great grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan and Lauren Simpson of Caledonia; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Dale Blount officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jeff Blount, J.J. Blount, Joey Blount, Robbie Reed, Michael Kay and Curt Gaston. Interment and final prayers were in Redbud Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 8 west, Potosi.
