The children are Opal, Melvin, Robert, Verton, Willis, Lots and Wanda Lee of Belgrade and Mrs. Ollie Hayes of Leadwood. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Fay Hall of Belgrade and Mrs. Goldie Crafton of Sheridan, Wyoming. Mrs. Ives was converted at an early age and united with the Missionary Baptist Church on Hazel Creek. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at Ramsey Grove Church by Rev. Radford, Sr. of Park Hills and six children and twelve grandchildren as follows: Clifford Radford, Jr. and ex-wife Linda of Irondale and son Clifford Radford, III and his girlfriend Brenda; former daughter-in-law, Donna and her daughters, April and Tiffany of Texas; Pam Cunningham of Farmington and sons, Robert and his wife Tiffany; Walter and his girlfriend Alice; Rosemary DeRousse of Park Hills and their son Robert Jr.; Rose and Byfurd Friend of Caulfield, MO and their daughter Melissa and sons Joshua and Jesse and his wife Selena and William Radford of Park Hills an step-son Kevin Radford of Rolla, MO. Shirley was also able to enjoy nine great-grandchildren who are: Alisha, Devn, Kelsey, Christopher, Alan, Shane, Kayla, Liddia andCaelob. Shirley was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was mom to many and always took care of everyone else before herself. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be in their hearts and thoughts forever. Funeral services were conducted Friday, January 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, Potosi, with Rev. Byfurd Friend officiating. Visitation was held Friday, January 6, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father George Galovich officiating. Burial took place Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri. She was born November 1, 1903 at Tiff, MO, a daughter of the late Willis and Bellda (Paul) Cummins. She was united in marriage to Mason Walter Sitzes in 1903 and to this union two sons were born. Mr. Sitzes preceded her in death in 1952. They shared over twenty-two years of their life together. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Potosi and a long time member of the Eastern Star. Lily was very active in clubs and community affairs. She loved to travel and some of her hobbies were flower arranging and oil painting. Lily also ran a country general store in combination with the post office which she served almost fifty years in the community of Tiff, MO. In addition to her parents and husband, Lily was preceded in death by a son, Richard Sitzes; three brothers, Thomas Cummins, Edward Cummins and Samuel Cummins, and three sisters, Grace Cummins, Margaret Kelsey and Kitty Bell Stizes. Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are her son Mason Sitzes and wife Mary of Pacific; three grandchildren, Karen Boyce and husband Leon of Pacific; James Sitzes of Charlottesville, Virginia and Richard Sitzes and wife Angeles of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; three great-grandchildren Aric Boyce, Kyle Boyce and Leana Boyce; one great-great-granddaughter, Kaleigh Ann Proetz; a special niece, Carol Teilhet of Fairborn, Ohio; nephew, Thomas Cummins of Destin, Florida; niece, Marilyn Utlaut and husband Gene of LaGrange, Texas and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. On March 16, 1946, he was united in marriage to Clara Mae Lands and to this union a daughter was born. They enjoyed over fifty-nine years of marriage together. Roy was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church of Belgrade. He was also a member of the Caledonia VFW Post #4212. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was a member of the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945 and was awarded 4 Bronze Service Stars for campaigns in South Philippines, Luzon, Western Pacific and New Guinea. He was a faithful servant of God and his country. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by four brothers, Everett Lee, Leslie James, Sammy Eugene and Orville Allen Sutterfield. Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his wife Clara Mae Sutterfield; a daughter, Jacqueline Kay Dean and husband Mark of Doe Run; a sister, Betty Lou Lybarger of Bismarck; a grandson Garrett Loughary; four sisters-in-law, Alice, Sarah, Wilma and Alberta; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
