Elijah/Eli/Elias Hulsey and Sarah Naomi Choate's son is William Henry Hulsey, Sr. William Henry Hulsey, Sr. and Elizabeth Horine's son is William Henry Hulsey, Jr. who married the Blanton sisters. But I am still confused. The William Henry Hulsey that married the Blanton sisters was the son of Eli Hulsey and Sarah Choate, correct? Who are the parents of the William Henry Hulsey who married Elizabeth Horine? Please forgive me for being so dense on this. The William Henry Hulsey I speak of is William Henry Hulsey, Sr. born 11 Feb 1811, died 17 Aug 1894, married to Elizabeth V Horine 2 May 1833. I have copies of the marriage certificate and the index of Missouri Marriages to 1850. William Henry Hulsey, Jr., born 26 Feb 1852 in Washington, MO and died 5 Jun 1917, is the one who married the Blanton sisters. I've reread some info. Steven M. Hulsey's parents were: James Hulsey & Sarah Byron. Steven married Sarah Jane Simmons. They had 7 children. One was my great aunt: Jessie Hulsey. James Milan Hulsey born in 1838. James Hulsey born in 1808. Apparently more than one James Hulsey. Info was correct. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. If you type in mogenweb at the search promp or www.mogenweb.org and click on the map with clickable links for washington county go down page until you see little grave stones click on Washington County cemeteries it will bring up a listing by township or alphabetically and Belleview Presbyterian Cemetery is listed. click there and it will give a nearly complete listing, as well as birth and death dates and in some instances mother and father, husband, etc. I hope this helps, has been a lifesaver for me! Also, please note some dates may vary. People often could not afford to buy stones, so when they could, sometimes the dates differ, from say Death certificates (SSDI social security death index can be found at sos.mo.gov under geneology) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. And to get to the death certificates go to www.sos.mo.gov go tto archives or the geneology section, it will let you put in the last name, *and, I recommend only the last name, and you can search that way.
