Bob was united in marriage to Beverly “Kitty” Lorensen on June 20, 1949 in Colorado, and to this union were blessed with five children. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Beverly “Kitty” Moore of Park Hills, Missouri; two daughters, Clara Lynn Dunn and husband Delane of Stockton, Missouri, Cindy Schallenberg and husband Dolph of Washington, Missouri; three sons; William “Bill” Moore and wife Connie of St. Charles, Missouri, James “Jim” Moore of Potosi, Missouri, John Moore and wife Tina of Potosi, Missouri; sister, JoAnn Roderique and husband Don of Jacksonville, Florida; and thirteen grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Goldie Moore and a very dear and special aunt, Sadie Duncan. Bob served this Country in the United States Coast Guard and the United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Bob was employed as a Union Electrician with IBEW Local 1, St. Louis, Missouri for over forty years. He had the opportunity to work on many great projects in Missouri including the Potosi Housing Authority projects, Busch Stadium and the St. Louis Arch. He was a member of the Potosi Masonic Lodge #131, Irondale Chapter Order of Eastern Star #166 where he had served as past Patron. Bob and his wife owned and operated the Montgomery Ward store in Potosi for many years. Bob was very active and dedicated to the Boy Scouts of America during his boys ventures with them. In the mid 1970’s Bob was honored to be selected to receive the Order of the Arrow on the same night as his son, John. Bob would take his vacation time, during the year to attend the S bar F Scout Ranch as a leader with his sons and Troop 409. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 31, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, June 1, 2006 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. A funeral service was held Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Dan Fulbright and Gwen Trullinger officiating. Billy enjoyed being in the outdoors going fishing, hunting squirrels, and taking float trips. He loved his family and spending time with them, he will be deeply missed by all. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Edgar Portell. Jim enjoyed going road riding, camping, fishing and taking in Mother Nature and her many gifts. He also liked to watch Cardinals baseball and the college basketball playoffs on television. Jim was an outstanding track athlete during high school. Jim served his country by enlisting into the United States Air Force. While serving in the military, Jim received recognition for Outstanding Service and Contribution to the Mission of Strategic Air Command at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. As a Staff Sergeant, Jim also completed the Non-Commissioned Officers Leadership School, while stationed on Okinawa, and received numerous other citations. Jim was proud of the service he gave to his country and received an Honorable Discharge on November 26, 1974. LOUIS RESEARCH INSTITUTE 2006 St. Louis Genealogical Society (StLGS) is offering a special week-long symposium to those, who have always wanted to research in the best genealogical repositories in St. Louis. Wilma was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin and friend. She was a member of the Potosi Church of God. She loved her church and her family dearly. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her father, Wilma was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law; Jean Dicus and Mattie Skaggs; a brother-in-law, Sammy Skaggs and her mother and father-in-law, Sam and Genieve Skaggs. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Brother Roger Taber officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jerry West, Zachary Lawson, Michael DeClue, Andrew Hayes, Ron Mason, Jacob Skaggs and Derrick Dicus. Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi. Others who survive him include a son, Jeffrey Roux and a daughter, Crystal Roux both of Piedmont; two brothers, Dennis Roux of Potosi and Danny (wife Monica) Roux of Jefferson City, three sisters, Charlynn (husband Terry) Reed of Potosi, Traci Gibson of Branson and Dawn (Brett) Pyatt of Desloge; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Dewayne Roux; his parents, Charles and Yvonne Roux; a brother, Dewayne Roux; a sister, Janet Roux; maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Bernice James and paternal grandparents, Charles and Florence Roux Mr. Roux was baptized at a young age at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Potosi and had a love for motorcycles. She was born on October 9, 1928 in Highland Park, Michigan, a daughter of the late Theodore A. Mapes and Alice E. (Hudson) Mapes. Armeda, as she was known to all, was a teacher at Potosi Elementary School for many years. She was a member of the Potosi Methodist Church and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association. She loved children and she was devoted to helping them achieve a better life through education. In addition to her parents, Armeda was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Mapes, Jr. and a sister, Elizabeth Battreal. Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include one son, Jim Woodring and wife Jeannie of Cocoa, Florida; a brother, George Mapes and wife Julie of Potosi; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Mapes of Festus; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; nieces; nephews; cousins; many other relatives and friends and countless past students who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Jerry Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Roy Logden, Mike Mapes, Alan Rowe, Logan Merrill, Jason Woodring, Rodney Hawkins and Justin Gillam. Interment and final prayers were held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
