    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: Anya401 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.washington/3961.3.1.4.1.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: These are very old posts, but I hope someone is still watching them. I am Leanna Tyler that Nettie Grimes mentioned. My 4th ggrandparents were William Wilson and Elizabeth Raines. As Nettie mentioned, we are convinced that my William and her Aquilla Wilson are related. Now I see the info. on John A. Wilson and have to believe he is also related. My William and Elizabeth Wilson lived in Fentress County, TN in 1850. They came to Washington County MO in 1853. I know nothing at all about either of their parents. After all these years, have any of you made any new connections? I have been trying to find out about my William for over 30 years now. Thanks! 1. [MOWASHIN] Kirkpatricks
    2. Tom Caulley
    3. I'm currently working on a huge family history of the Kirkpatricks that settled in the SE Corner of Washington Co, with many descendants moving into St. Francois Co. IN PARTICULAR, I'd like to find a male-Kirkpatrick descendant of one of the following sons of David Sevier Kirkpatrick (who died while in route to Washington Co ca 1823) to help us by doing a DNA test to help set the base-line DNA for our family.  For this test it MUST be  a male Kirkpatrick with an unbroken father-to-son connection back to David Sevier Kirkpatrick. David's children who settled in the area were: Joseph Marion Kirkpatrick (b 1800 – d 1874 M Patsey Ross & Mary White)      Sons       David William Kirkpatrick 1830 – 1879       William R. Kirkpatrick 1836 – 1903       John Kirkpatrick 1839 – 1879       Joseph Marion Kirkpatrick Jr. 1843 – 1903       James Monroe Kirkpatrick 1847 – 1926 David Kirkpatrick (b 1806 – d 1874 M Nancy Campbell)      Sons       James M. Kirkpatrick 1833 – 1899       William Robert Kirkpatrick 1835 – 1899       Harrison D. Kirkpatrick 1840 – 1930       John Henry Kirkpatrick 1845 – 1921       Martin Kirkpatrick 1848 – 1892       David Kirkpatrick 1849 –  Hugh Kirkpatrick (b 1807 – d after 1860) Robert Kirkpatrick (b 1812 – d after 1844) James Kirkpatrick (b 1814 – d?) If you fit the requirements and would like to help OR if you think you know one of these Kirkpatricks from St. Francois Co., MO, please email me directly at tcaulleysgenmail{AT}yahoo.com   (Chand {AT} to @ Thanks Tom Caulley

    3. Very nice - well done, Esther! Applause....  I wish I were as talented and patient to put together memorials such as yours. I tend to feel the same way as 'Cecil' sometimes: "I can't write anything to make it sound like I want to". ha!     As I read each and every word, I wondered if you happened to have a copy of the poem Cecil mentioned receiving? And - this is not meant to be critical, by any means - just a proof reading catch: Part III, 1st line: Heitmann was spelled Heitmannn.   Those soldiers who long ago reported to St. Peter, are no doubt smiling with genuine appreciation at your heart-felt endeavor,    Kay Clerc-Fakhar, FL       ________________________________ From: Esther M.
