My father, Vincent Richardson, is a grandchild of Edward Daly Portell who was married to Fanny Boyer..he asked me if I had any information on what he thought was Edward's sister and if she was blind. I do not have information that a family member of Edward's was blind. Dad remembers her visiting his grandpa when they were kids and he just wants to know who it was. If anyone has any information, please let me know. Thanks! Melinda Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. POSSIBLE CEMETERY THEFT: Went out to Redbud Memorial Gardens today to try to fulfill some tombstone photo requests for Find-A-Grave & while searching the cemetery I noticed that there were a LOT of those tombstone metal flower vases missing leaving a big empty hole in the tombstones. Anyone who has family out there may want to check into the situation.   Esther Ziock Carroll Genealogist, Historian, Author, Homemaker Servant to 12 spoiled-rotten cats, 2 lazy dogs, 1 tolerant husband =^.^=               Washington County, Mo. 3. This isn't in Washington County, but its close so I thought I'd go ahead and ask if anyone might be able to help me determine what became of the following 'Jennie' Boatwright, who married Francis Symon in 1870 Iron County, MO: Iron County, MO Marriages: Pg 271 - I certify that on the 22nd day of Sept, 1870, I united in the Holy Bonds of Matrimony, Francis Symon and Jennie Boatwright, both of the County of Iron and State of MO – J.C. Sara Palmer was my of the civil war. Became sick and was sent home to die. Hyacinthe Florence died four year later. (d-1867). From the deeds at Washington County Mo I found that their farm was sold on the court house steps. After Florence died the childred went to live with the Roussin side of the family. Jacob Palmer, Montgomery's father di not own property, and did not have money and was not able to care for the family. I don't know if you still need this information or not. I did most of my research before, got busy and gave it to my nephew, I have just started working on it again. If you need any thing let me know and I will try and get it for you. 3. Hi Kay - Every few months I back up Carrolls Corner on disc.  If anything should happen to me my husband  has the back up.  I've told him to keep the web site on-line as long as he can.  He wouldn't be adding to it as he is not a genealogist or historian but would just maintain it.  When I cross-over everything I have in the way of genealogy/history is to go to the University of Missouri - Rolla.  They have been very good to me there helping me with research & advice & they take very good care of all their files.  But they said they could not keep it on-line unless arrangements are made for the fees.    Would you, Kay, or anyone else be interested in taking over Carrolls Corner upon my demise?  It would be nice to have someone in mind so my husband could turn everything over to them.    Esther M.
