Looking for Jacob A Johnston born in Henry Co. July 1855, father was John Johnston, mother Catherine Smith. Did they have another son named Phyletus? My Phyletus Johnson born ca 1860 in MO and lived in Vernon Co and Johnson Co., MO and also KS, Wabaunsee Co in Dec 1885. Phyletus married Nancy Jane Smallwood in Nevada, MO 1880. They had 2 sons, Willis and Frank born 1880 and 1885. Hope someone can help find this very elusive great grandfather of mine! Have been looking for 17 years! thanks for any help.
