I found the burial place for my great grandfather's first wife Martha Thompson McKee, in Deepwater Twp, Vernon County, MO in the Montrose Mount Cemetery. She died in 1857 when their third child was about one month old and was possibly the first burial there. It is now listed as a cemetery for African-Americans but definitely wasn't when she was buried there as she was a white woman. I thought you might be interested in case you are looking for a caucasian and bypass this cemetery because of the description. I found the cemetery listing through the Vernon County GenWeb site.
